(Dataite, Weapons)
Dataite is an exceptionally rare mineral found only in Yukina's birthplace, the world inside of the game [REDACTED]. Many players are always on the search for this incredibly valuable, versatile gemstone either to forge the strongest of tools and weapons, or to satiate their greed. Dataite is an exceptionally sparkly, light blue gemstone that often gets mistaken for the far more common, and far less desirable, Aquamarine. Many players end up seeing the strikingly similar forms of these gems, mixing them up, and leaving discoveries of Dataite veins behind. The unique properties of Dataite allows for extreme variability in its uses, included but not limited to developing weapons, armor, and tools while retaining its tensile strength of steel. Gemstones and ores added to the Dataite give a myriad of unique effects ranging from added sharpness, weight reduction, and even penetration traits. Infusing armors with Dataite may also give a different set of bonuses, including enhanced durability, damage resistance, and even armor penetration resistance. Though combining other gemstones and ores is often seen as "optimal" usage of Dataite, forging and infusing refined Dataite by itself can still yield incredibly dangerous results.Given how mutable Dataite is, and how flexible its applications are, no one player fully knows the potential of this rare mineral -- some theorize that it may even be limitless.-------------YUKINA SPRITEYukina, being the type of girl to be non-confrontational, prefers to avoid getting into combat at any cost. However, when put into a position where she needs to defend herself, she may clasp her hands together and summon her Dataite weapon. Her primary weapon is the Rose Rapier, a long, lightweight rapier-type weapon built from Dataite infused with Rose Quartz. The hilt is a soft pink color with a rose vine pattern, and the blade of the rapier is a soft pink with soft blue diamond patterns all the way down the length of the shaft.Yukina's weapon being made of Dataite allows her to freely morph her Rose Rapier as she feels the need to, simply by modifying the infusion. Need a blunt impact? Sapphire Hammer. Need to cleave enemies down? Jade Katana, or even a two-handed Emerald Greatsword. The possibilities are only limited by her own imagination, and the results are easily four times as dangerous. Yukina has even been seen using the Dataite to make reinforced Morganite Claws for herself.Courtesy of the code-altering abilities granted to her by Devidra, Yukina is able to effectively incubate and "clone" caches of Dataite within herself. However, this is quite the lengthy process, and requires access to Dataite's source code. This allows Yukina to replace lost and broken bits of Dataite.-------------DEVIDRADevidra, a being housed within a body of steel, has no weapon for themself. The most their small body can offer is blunt force strikes by tackling opponents, or weaponizing their sharp tail akin to a scorpion. Due to their arms being detatched from their body, the amount of force and resistance capable by these units are very minuscule. However, should Devidra get within melee range of an opponent, they are not afraid to rip and tear their target until it is done.-------------DEVIINADeviina, being a sadistic, twisted combination of Yukina and Devidra, wields a myriad of ways to inflict damage on an opponent. Tapping into the Dataite stored within their body -- courtesy of Yukina's charm and rapier -- allows Deviina access to additional options that neither of her previous halves had alone.Extracting the Dataite within her code, Deviina can summon a trident made from the bedrock of Hell itself to defend herself with. Infused with Rubies and Amethysts, the dark, brimstone trident is capable of inflicting wounds on opponents that feel as if the unyielding fires of Hell itself were burning the impact sites.Tapping into the latent abilities of Dataite, and combining any number of gemstones, Deviina gains access to Hellfire magic. She is able to control her signature purple fire in a multitude of ways, including as a ranged option to blast enemies, vanish into a puff of flame to teleport about, summon an impassable wall of flames, and even summon a wisp of Hellfire to serve her. Using these abilities drains a considerable amount of stamina, however, and may leave Deviina in a compromised position from excessive usage.Should all else fail, Deviina is able to use the properties of Dataite to reinforce her twisted, demoness nails into razor-sharp, deadly claws. When concentrated to such a high degree, these claws are able to effortlessly cut through steel, and make quick work of opponents using her superior agility.Rumors have it that the strikingly crimson red color that adorns her nails is the result of foes she has felled with her hands... Or of the souls she has tortured. Those who have felt the malicious wrath of Deviina's numerous attack forms have all echoed the same idea -- that they felt their very soul itself being burned to ash...
